'HOWL-EEN' WEEKEND for the Weimaraner Club of Scotland October 2004

A group of Weimaraner Dog owners and their pets got together at Hunters Cabins to enjoy 'doggie' activities over Halloween. They were delighted to have the opportunity to meet other members and their dogs.

'Young puppies, and old veterans enjoyed obedience classes, recall tests, and working trials over the weekend. The cabins were fine and contained everything needed for a comfortable stay. Each evening the group got together with take-away meals to make things easy. On Saturday evening, with the cabins decorated, pumpkin lanterns were lit up and the whole site took on a festive look. The owners dressed up in Howleen outfits – witches, ghosts, gorilla and even a Dracula. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, it was a pleasure to meet other members with their beautiful dogs.'

May I thank you for a highly enjoyable week in 'IVY' cabin. It was so comfortable and had a magificent view. We really loved the area - the glens, the coast and Glamis in particular.

We've had a lovely time, enjoying spectacular views. We're actually looking to move up in December, so have had a good opportunity to look around the area. I only wish we could buy something with such wonderful scenery.
